  • To see we had a pleasant evening attending greyhound races while dining. Pleasant service, staff making the effort to speak French in case of difficulties. Small bets can be made with minimum bets of 1, 2 or 6 euros.

  • Quiet and peaceful but tiny. Certainly not worth travelling for. Locals only
  • Always great to have a green space in a city but... The planting is very clinical & offers very little for the bees. They plant single flowering plants in the beds, they flower, they dig them up & then plant another limited bloom flower. It seems labour intensive, hard on the soil & offers little for insects & bees to focus on. Wildflowers, lavender or just bushes with lots of blooms would enhance the park no end. Trees & shrubs are fine but the bedding flowers are old school & don't do much for our struggling eco system. No toilets which is really bad considering they were there & they gave them over to a cafe. More flipping take away cups to add to land fill. A playground full of kids in a park. Where are they supposed to go to the toilet? In the bushes is where they end up. I don't see why a public toilet couldn't have been park of the cafe. The playground has 2 entry gates. One has a sign with "No dogs" on it. The other doesn't. So despite a "no dogs" policy in every public playground in Ireland there are still dog owners who think this doesn't apply to their pooch & bring their dog in -to the playground with children where other dog owners (myself included) have left their dog outside the railings. Needless to say there are also the dog owners who think that "All dogs on a lead" in the park sign/rule does not apply to them. A bit of consideration would be appreciated.
