Bad Ass Comedy Cafe, Dublin

#51 of 74 in Fun & Games in Dublin
The Bad Ass Café, established in 1983, was and remains a landmark establishment in Irish tradition and culture. It has played host to a long and colourful history such as almost burning to the ground, being listed on the ‘Rock ‘N’ Stroll Tour’ of Dublin, housing one of the oldest cash payment systems in Ireland and employing the extremely talented Sinead O’Connor.

Now under new Management, we have recently undergone renovations in order to revitalize the popular premises and restore it to its former Bad Ass glory. It has once again become a favourite in the heart of Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar with everything from a selection of delicious Kick Ass Menus and Bad Ass Food Challenges to Kick Ass Entertainment and Live Stand Up Comedy.

This is only the beginning of long and exciting new life we have planned for the Bad Ass Café. If you haven’t heard about us before, trust us, you will!

  • Pretty good place to listen to music in the evenings, the place is close to Fleet Street and is nice to end the evening in a bar. Beware you have to do the, service, go to the bar and carry your drinks.
