Bray Head, Bray

#2 of 22 in Things to do in Bray
Must see · Mountain · Nature / Park
Stretch your legs and take in panoramic views from the peak of Bray Head. This 241 m (791 ft) hill and headland is part of the Wicklow Mountains and a popular hiking spot. The highest point is marked with a concrete cross, erected here in 1950. You can reach the cross via a footpath, formed by rainwater, which begins at the parking lot. You'll be rewarded after the steep climb with far-reaching views. Locals allege you can see all the way to the mountains in Wales, on especially clear days. Bring snacks and water with you, as there are no facilities on the hill. Be aware that the path can be slippery; walking shoes are recommended.
