Assaranca Waterfall, Ardara

One of the top stops of myself and my wife's trip. It is beautiful, and the surrounding areas are well worth a half day of walking and exploring. Some of the pictures are from across the bay from the waterfall, as we had taken the wrong road, glad we did, because it's beautiful as well, and you can see the falls from a couple of kilometers away. The beach and cave area is past the falls, and is well worth the walk to see the dunes, and sea swept beachfront and hills.

So peaceful and tranquil. I like to drive up here and sit with the flowing energy and meditate for a wee while. The surrounding area is simply stunning. While it is out of this world on a sunny day, almost tropical, it's on a rainy day you can feel the full power in all it's magnificence. It's a must do one a drive around Donegal. Please remember to bring your rubbish with you, it's a gift from nature and should always be respected ✌💜🌞
