Stand in awe at the tombs of four ancient kings of Persia, carved into the side of a mountain, at Nagsh-e Rostam. Walk around the remains of one of the oldest cities in the area, discovered in 1930 by a group of archaeologists, and admire the burial site. The only thing more impressive than the tombs themselves are the reliefs that decorate the surroundings; the oldest allegedly dates back to the beginning of the second millenium BCE. Look carefully, and you'll see carvings of faces in the mountain, still visible after all this time. Really good. The place us quite small, but has its own charm. Combination of tombs and sculptures is perfect. Tower of Zoroaster is an outstanding piece of art. There is a small hill in front of the observation plateau. Best place to take photos of the place. There is a small café at the entrance to the monument. They are very friendly and make good cappuccino.

After to visit Persepolis it doesn’t really worth to pay for this site specially because you basically can see everything from the road. Is not about the money but it’s a place where they take advantage from tourists, trying to convince them to pay for a guide that have a few pictures from inside of the tomb! You will not really gonna see anything!
