  • Tembeling's setting is magical. The second pool overlooks the beach and its water is crystal clear! We were first to arrive and couldn't identify the entrance though we parked the scooter at a side...  more »
  • This is a most go. I went to many spots in Indonesia, out of all of them this was my favorite 🙌🏼. Getting there is rough, you need a good motorcycle 🏍 (I don’t think a scooter will make it) you’ll go down the stairs and there is two man made natural pools. One is on the way to the beach and the other next to the beach. The place was empty and some locals came later, they were really friendly. This place isn’t touristic yet, so you better go before more people know about it.
  • Totally worth the trip down. When we reached the entrance (road down to the beach), there were a handful of men there where u can hire for 50k (round trip) to take you down via scooter. It’s a rough and extremely rocky ride down and up. I totally suggest you hiring these guys even if you have your own moped. The rocks were the size of my fist and at one point, the hill up was extremely steep. The view was spectacular. There are two pools below, which I didn’t jump in, but looked refreshing. The beach alone made it totally worth it, and there’s a small cave. Honestly, for those you say it wasn’t worth it, you’re not an adventurist. You basically want things handed to you -hop off a bike, and see the view. Take the time to enjoy and experience the journey. And if you’re also complaining about the 50k fare, don’t go on vacation if you think 50k is too much. The locals find any way to scrounge up money to feed their families and honestly, 50k is chump change. If u have money to travel, you can spare 50k to help them.
