  • In love with this lake very much ... It is really naturally beautiful all the time even during the foggy time. Enjoying the scenery, the landscape, it's vegetation, it's calm and it's luxurious...  more »
  • Had a nice walk down to the lake (about 90 minutes) and then a short canoe ride back to where our driver was waiting. It would have been nicer to take a longer ride around the lake but we just went...  more »

  • This is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in remote area but accessible by car till the side of the lake where parking is available. Cool temperature, fresh air, greenery, serenity, welcome you to this place. The temple on the side of the lake is majestic. You can take unique traditional boat to explore the lake. For those who love trekking ,exploring the forest of Tamblingan, local guide is available. We can also do fishing but we have to bring fishing equipments by ourselves since they are not rent here.
  • Easy access with car or motorcycle. Just follow the direction from your google map or waze and it will lead you directly to the location. Don't try finding it without your phone's GPS as you'll be lost the the fogs and be eaten by monsters. Parking is just next to the temple. If it rains the day after, just park next to the road as the usual parking space in the field will usually be full of mud. Nobody will usually be around except for another photographer/s with the same plan as you are.
