Seabreeze Kite Club, Banda Aceh

Seabreeze sells a misleading package + bad wind: don't go!!! On their website they sell a kitesurf camp on the beach. First of all: there is no camp (just a storage box above a bar that doesn't form part of the organisation). Second: the accommodation is in the village, not on the beach. Third: the accommodation is super overpriced, 40 dollars per night (which buys you luxury hotels in Indonesia) for a dark room with no airco, no shower, bad beds and unhealthy boring food. But most importantly I had zero days of good wind in the 10 days I was there and I have been told by people who stay there longer that it is never any good till mid-july. I feel totally ripped off. I have paid for full rental which I never got to use! I asked for a partly refund, I was told I would get a voucher, like I would ever want to go with these con-artists again. Keep my money and go buy yourself some good karma!

I'm a kitesurfer with gear traveling alone and booked with the sea breeze kite club on there website for accommodation and the basic kiteboatding package which includes kite launching, landing, gear storage and gear transfer to the spot. When I get to the place I was staying the people knew basically nothing about the kiteboarding and I found out I was the only staying there. Which is horrible when the sea  breeze kite club says on there website there many kiters hanging out at the accommodation and great place to meet people . The next day I rented a scooter to get to the spot because no came to pick me an my gear up. When I got down to the beach I couldn't see any kitesurfers or the sea breeze kite club even after looking on Google I could find it from the location provided. After a while I bumped into some kiters that were staying at yudis place along with yudi and John. They offered to help launch my kite and let me use their cafe Jouyus rest on the beach as base. Which has basically saved my holiday. After talking to people at the cafe I found out the sea breeze kite club operates out of another cafe further up the beach in horrible spot with alot of rocks Infront of it and from what I gathered they dont have anyone who is trained to launch or land kites. I have received a partial refund from sea breeze kite club for not providing the kite launching landing and storage. I would recommend not using them for your kiteboarding holiday.
