This was awesome for snorkeling! Tip: go in the morning time and you will see more fish. Sunny days better too! I saw many fish and it was so colorful and awesome! more »

We had a couple of hours at the shipwreck snorkeling. It is accessible from the beach and about 20 metres out. There is a buoy marking the spot of the wreck. Not much is left of it after 78 years but.... more »

You can drive straight onto the path down to the sea WITHOUT PAYING a "parking" fee. Nice small (20 meter +/-) shipwreck to snorkel on. Very close to shore and marked by 2 buoys. Very pretty corals, sea fans and LOADS of fish to see. The bow is standing on it's end so you can dive down to different depths from shallow to a lot deeper. Something for everyone. Large, round and slippery pebbles on the beach. Probably best not to do in flip-flops (30 m. walk, left, from the path) and lots of boats in the way too. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Good way to spend an hour or 2.

Great place to snorkel. The ship is impressive in size and so many great varieties of fish to see. You do need to be careful with boats coming into the area but definitely somewhere you want to snorkel when you visit Amed. I also had my 5 year old son with me and he absolutely loved it you just need to make sure the conditions are not too choppy for children.
