    There is a 10 rs ticket, we went inside but no guide and without a guide we can't understand the functioning of different apparatus/dials used there. They said no guide during covid times. We came...  more »

    this was built by King of Jaipur - Raja Man Singh. He had deep interest in Astronomy. The structures are for tracking of time, position of planets and many things of astronomical interest.  more »

    Wonderful experience. It feels great to visit an observatory that was built almost 3 centuries ago and is functional till date. The staff members are friendly and happy to answer your queries. Take the assistance from any member to guide you through the equipment constructed in the observatory. This will help you understand the purpose and working mechanism of each individual equipment. A must visit for young kids and people interested in astronomical calculations.
