Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram Reviews
Super nice Ashram, very good yoga teachers, exellent food, share dormitory with nice people from everywhere. If you like Ashram's rules 100% recommended (maybe they can improve the bajans songs) more »

Best meditation center ever Once in life every one must visit Feeling so relaxed n refreshed.... Atmosphere is cool n joyful.... During meditation feel so relaxed.. Where ever you get a chance to go there....must go..... it's body n mind refreshing center..
If you want to visit a Yoga entertainment park in American style in amazing surroundings where you can attain good yoga classes, sing beautiful mantras, get a first idea of spiritual issues and have tasty healthy food, where you can relaxe and hang out with interesting people from all over the world, this is a real good place to go. But I missed the feeling of real enthusiasm for the wonderful teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnu Devananda. I will not go in detail, find out for yourself. Perhaps this is just my impression, and you experience it in a different way. I missed the discipline of a serious Ashram as well. People stay in dormatory instead of going to Satsang, Silence is not obtained during silence time. If you frame a rule you have to take care that it is followed. Otherwise you'd better abolish it. And this two rules I mentioned make real sense in an Ashram. On the other hand I don't understand why they keep up the old-fashioned tradition of prohibiting female guests from going to temple area during their menstruation time. Why should the divine get insulted by the natural cycle of women?
