Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple remains a temple dedicated to Lord Balaji, an incarnation of Vishnu. The temple was built in 1972 in typical South Indian architectural style that features richly adorned white exterior. Legend has it that the god is unable to return to his heavenly abode unless he pays his earthly debt to another Hindu god Kubera, the treasurer of wealth. To observe the local rituals, in which devotees offer to repay Lord Balaji's debt, time your visit during the festival in May.
