Inside the marvelously architectured temple the idol of Shri Devi Bhagwati is adorned beautifully. There are also other deity idols like 'Veer Vighnesh' & 'Ashtadashbhuj' beautiful sculptures of God Ganapati unique in their kind. During Navratri, one of the sacred festivals celebrated throught India, thousands of devotees visit the temple to celebrate the festival with much enthusiasm and vigour. A nine days yatra is conducted as a part of the festival

The temple is blessed with calm and serene ambience being situated on heighest peak inside the Ratnadurg fort sarrounded three sides by the shores of Arabian sea which provides a divine feeling to the devotees.

    Nice temple and Bhagwati devi idol is very beautiful. However the fort in which the temple is located is not at all maintained. Visit only for the temple and the sea view.  more »
