  • Very interesting and informative place about the A&N islands. If your the islands suggest visit this place to know what is available and pick what interests you and then prepare ur plan. There is lot more to see outside the south Port Blair so visit this place, get to know what interests you and then continue with your tour.
  • Nice place to know about the local tribes and marine wildlife. Not much about the navy. Don't keep this place on the priority list. Visit if convenient.
  • Few corals presented here are worth visiting. They are huge sea shells which you won't be able to see anywhere this easily. There is a small aquarium where you see a variety of fishes. But as I mentioned, it is a small aquarium. It is not worth the watch. But you can visit the museum if you have time on your hand and want to get a flavor of Andaman Islands. There is also a sitting place where videos of different islands are shown.
  • An amazing maritime museum maintained by Indian Navy at Port Blair, about 3 odd km from the airport. The skeleton of a whale at the entry gives an idea of how big the creature is. Inside, there are many sections having models of tribal life, marine flora and fauna. The corals collection is good. It is any day better than the Govt museum near the Water Sports Complex. Entry fee is nominal. Must visit this museum on arrival at Port Blair so as to understand Andamans better.
  • This museum is all about the ocean and marine life of almost every main island. It has also some marine animal aquariums and cells , corals also. You have to purchase tickets to visit this place which is around Rs20 and for adults. It is a good place to take your children to learn and enjoy.
