  • On the road between Khimsar and Jaisalmer, our driver warmly suggested a stop at this Jain temple. Decorated with hundreds and hundreds of small mirrors. The temple would date from the 19th century at least for the decoration they call "Belgian glass". We were the only tourists, on the other hand there were locals praying and making offerings. Really interesting. It has silver doors, beautiful tanka style paintings. And above all a "magical" sign where we find a mysterious glow whose origin we do not know. Finally we were told but there is certainly a scientific explanation whispers my Cartesian spirit. Located in the middle of the city by car through a maze of small streets allowing you to see the hectic life of Phalodi.

  • Clicked so many pictures inside this temple. Very peaceful. The best part is the centre portion of the temple where when you look up the reaction is something to experience.  more »
  • A very beautiful temple. WELL MAINTAINED AND well decorated jain temple. Very clean place. Approximately more than 100year old jain temple. Walls and roof are beautifully decorated with different colours of glass pieces. Holy and spiritual place.
