I take the classes myself and these are held in small groups of 4-6 people, which ensures individual attention and a homely atmosphere, making learning fun and exciting. I give the students an opportunity to get practical hands on experience by participating in the preparation of the items. Easy to understand, printed recipes are given, so that students can concentrate on learning rather than spending time on noting details. I provide all the ingredients.
I come from a foods and nutrition background and have been taking classes for over 15 years now. I not only understand the art of cooking but the science and nutritional value of every ingredient used. Many of my students are in touch with me and keep coming back to learn newer things every now and then. They are also free to talk to me for guidance when they are cooking and need help.
My students include men and women, young and old, working and non working. I take special classes for children, girls who are about to get married, persons who are going abroad for further studies or for jobs or settling down, and people who are looking for advanced and specialised courses.
I have specially designed classes for people coming from abroad, both Indians and Foreigners, who want to have the flavour of Indian cooking. For people who want a one to one class, I offer individual classes on specific requirements of the student. The course content is also designed to suit the individual.
