Explore a treasure trove of ruined monuments from the 6th to 19th century at Mehrauli Archaeological Park. Among the park's tombs, palaces, stepwells, and much more, the highlights remain a mosque and its adjoining tomb of Sufi poet Jamali Khamali, which displays his words on its interior walls. Be sure to bring plenty of water for your trip and comfortable shoes, as some terrain is uneven and you'll have to climb steps around the park. • Spent around 2 hours in the park. As a solo traveller, I always care for my safety and was not disappointed. There's a guard in every big building. Take some snacks and just chill!  more »

  • This is park located very near to the famous Qutub Minar. It is a place with free entry and lots of greenery, maybe a little be less maintained but a good place. You can find many people enjoying their picnic here and the best part is the view of the Qutub Minar just beside the park. This park also has a very old tomb which looks beautiful, there are lots of such old buildings in Delhi which glorifies the history of the capital.
  • Just near the tourist-thronged Qutub Minar, this park with great shades from green trees serves a quiet, relaxed air. The park is quiet large to explore, so having proper shoes and water was of great help. There is a rose garden too, from which an unobstructed view of the Qutub Minar makes it a good place to sit down and take in the silent air. The archaeological remains, unfortunately like most others, are far from good/ maintained conditions. The baoli inside is filled with plastic and debris.
