  • When I visited a year ago, i was in the process of repairing it, so I couldn't see the whole view, but this time the work was over and I was resurrected in a beautiful form. The sculptures are delicate and elegant, but if you look at similar architecture like the one sat in Agra Castle, you can't help but look a little inferior.

  • Small Palace of white marble (as often, especially appreciated by pigeons), which was once the private residence of the emperor, it is in my opinion the most beautiful thing to see inside the enclosure of the Red Fort. Not to be missed!

  • “Khas Mahal” (“Royal Palace”), was envisaged as Emperor Shahjahan’s personal palace. Indeed, so unbelievably outstanding are its numerous ornamental features, so superlatively detailed are its delicate stone filigree screens and so meticulously sculpted are its various decorative elements that sycophantic royal chroniclers could not resist drenching it in such explicably grandiose prose, such inordinately lavish praise that one would have condescendingly dismissed their flattering words as superfluous hyperbole were one not witnessing festooned throughout the gorgeous edifice the incomparable spectacle of mesmerizing poetry described so dexterously in cold stone
  • Khas Mahal was Shah Jahans private residence Khas Mahal has 3 divisions Tasbih-Khana, prayer room for the king, a set of three rooms facing the Diwan-e Khas Three rooms behind the prayer hall were the Khwabgah or bedroom To the south is a long chamber with a perforated wall on the west called Toshkhana or regal wardrobe chamber It was also called the Baithak or sitting room.  A beautifully carved marble screen with the Scale of Justice is at the northern end of these rooms. On the river side is the semi octagonal tower with an onion dome called the Muthamman Burj From a protruding window called jharokha was where the king would appear every morning for the darshan
