The Statue of Unity is a colossal statue of Indian statesman and independence activist Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who was the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home minister of independent India and adherent of Mahatma Gandhi during the non-violent Indian Independence movement. The statue is located in the state of Gujarat, India. It is the world's tallest statue with a height of 182 metres (597 feet). It is located on the Narmada River in the Kevadiya colony, facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of the city of Vadodara and 150 kilometres (93 mi) from Surat.See Statue Of Unity and all Narmada has to offer by arranging your trip with our Narmada travel itinerary planner.

Great place for family trip. Although pretty crowded in the holiday season. Worth every minute of wait. Prefer to drive all the way to it and have your own vehicle because the bus that takes us there from the ticket centre waits till it's full. Sometimes takes hours if it's hot a holiday season. And when you have your own vehicle you can drive to the Narmada Sarovar plant. Buses don't take you there. Also, the museum has Subway and other shops and cafes.

Situated in outskirts of Baroda at drive of around 1.5-2 hours this place is one of great landmarks in western India. This tall statue made in remembrance of iron man , Sardar Vallabhai Patel is worth visiting. At nominal ticket price one can get to see the amazing view of river Narmada and beautiful clean surrounding. At small walkable distance one can see the beautiful plantations & flower garden. In all this is amazing place and interesting one. Worth visiting if you want some time for yourself & your friends . Avoid summer season rush.
