  • An absolutely amazing place to visit when in Mysore. It is almost mandatory to visit the place! The palace is breathtaking, especially when the lights are on in the evening! You can never get enough of this place. The temples are historic, the history of the palace and it's occupants, the royal family is so very well documented. Every one who visits Mysore should visit the place. The security staff play beautiful songs on instruments in the evenings which are a treat for the eye and gives a feeling of royalty! Must ensure that cleanliness is maintained at all times.
  • It is amazing... We visited the palace after the closing time. We reached there by 9.30 but in that also it is very nice to view if we visit the same in the morning times we can see the visual Wonder of the palace. Really it is amazing must seen place to know about our history. There will be a light show between 7pm and 7.45pm we have to see that amazing light show. Normally visitors will be allowed from 10 am to 5 pm daily...
  • The Mysore palace is a magnificent palace you will ever see. It is one of the largest palaces in India and indeed very beautiful as well. The palace is well structured and you will be able to see during those time how the kings attended the meetings, where they stayed and there living. The current king also stays in the palace, though he does not rule anymore but the king still prevails generation to generation. The palace looks very elegant in the night when it is lit up and can be only seen from outside. You will love the view at the night.
  • The Mysore palace is our one of the best heritage place.... Good Tourists place The Mysore palace is one of the most popular monuments in the history of India. It has a big area for the visitors to watch over. Different sections have their own importance. Highlighted. It has also has a museum showcasing various historic parts of the past. Be it uniforms, Spears, swords or old telephonic instruments. A good watch. But a big factor to be considered is the weather. It's an open air place, so if you go on a sunny day make it a point to carry your goggles and cap. Not to forget drinking water. The place is facilitated with | public washrooms and drinking water. But please choose a pleasant weather period to visit or else you'll be drenched in sweat.
  • The palace is quite beautiful. We paid for a guide (only 350 rupee) which was very nice. Told us interesting stories for each of the parts. One interesting thing is you can't wear shoes in the palace. Be prepared. Also note that the bathrooms are pay and very poorly maintained. Hold your breath.
