  • Not particularly organised but the guided walk was interesting. We went up a watchtower from which we spotted a few birds then walked along a riverbank which apparently was frequented by elephants in the evenings. There was plenty of wildlife to enjoy including monkeys, several types of bird and a stag deer. We felt that the beautiful views in the drive up from Munnar coupled with the walk merited 5 stars for the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.
  • Chinnar wildlife sanctuary is worth visit for tracking. It has 2 km walk in forest on hills @ 225/- while 6 km walk towards water fall has approx 450/- per person. Tracking is with the supervision of Forest Guard. Its slightly Dangerous but worth visit. Water bottle is required. If you are lucky then you may see forest animals.
