Chor Bazaar, Mumbai

As an assistant director for an ad film production house, i used to frequent this place often in search of unique items, antique lamps and frames, furniture, film posters and what-have-yous. if you can take care of yourself in a crowd and know how to bargain, you'll get lucky with your haul here. great for film makers looking to rent unique details to add to your set.

It’s extremely crowded, hectic, and offers anything you need. If you don’t mind the crowds, and being forced to slide sideways between people and motorbikes, it’s an interesting Bazaar. It’s not super touristy, I didn’t see any other foreigners, don’t be surprised if your the only tourist. I been to better Bazaars, and markets, it might be worth a visit if your in the area.
