  • This place is located very near to Krishna's Butterball and is one of the finest maintained monuments of historical importance I have visited. The rocks have been carved with absolute intricacy and the best part is that even after such a long time the carvings are as intact as they can be. Now the main part is all the carvings on the rock depict some story and you will need a guide or someone to explain the story related to the same. There are also many temples around this monument which is quite famous and you can surely visit all the temples and click some great photographs. You can take a cab or something for transportation to reach here. Apart from that, this is an amazing historical site that is for sure a must visit if you are in Mahabalipuram.
