#4 of 15 in Parks in Lonavala
Dam · Nature / Park
A weekend getaway, Bhushi Dam is favored by locals looking for something to do during the monsoon season, when the water level goes up and spills over side steps and streets. In order to provide water for steam locomotives, the Indian railway built the dam in the 1860s--the site quickly became a popular tourist spot.
