  • Located inside the fort, Mahadev Temple was built by Rana Kumbha in 1458 A.D. It is dedicated to the god Shiva and can be entered from any point (north, south, east and west) as it is open and surrounded by columns. At the front is a statue of Nandi the sacred bull of Shiva. Although on the outside it's prettier than inside it's also worth seeing inside. The light and sound show takes place in this temple we could not see it. Very interesting.

  • Its an ancient temple with a very different feel . You can meditate , feel close to God. There are no pandits to extort money or vendors to sell offerings .  more »
