Swami Narayan Mandir is about 25 km from the center of kolkata on way to Gangasagar. It is a beautiful temple complex and very peace giving..Excellent food available in the complex.. must visit more »
Fall down quite a months ago, the temple is under construction. The fountain structures within the garden area are newly building. During afternoon, fresh vegetables are sold by the temple employees. Entry timing and other services became strict. Otherwise the place is full of peace and sanity...
The temple surrounds with a peaceful and serene ambience. A must visit place to all the age groups seeking spiritual harmony. Especially people who love to spend time in the pristine surroundings and want to devote themselves completely in the name of Lord. The temple is situated amidst the end of Kolkata city, many city dwellers are still unaware of this wondrous structure, it takes about an hour drive from Tollygunge. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the temple premises, however one can enjoy their best time away from the city goers, gadgets and meditate peacefully.
