  • Surrounded by the wilderness of Sitabani Forest Reserve, Sitabani temple is a perfect place for tourism. The beautiful architecture of this ancient temple makes it a great place for visitors from all over the world. Jackals, wild boars, barking deers, leopards, tigers, elephants as well as king cobras are a common yet elegant sight around the temple complex. This is one of the several reasons, this temple is projected as nationally protected heritage site by ASI. It's a small temple dedicated to goddess Sita, also serving as the only temple with idols of Luv and Kush with a Shivling on the other side. It's 24 km away from Corbet national park. Being located at Mailani range, the temple provides visitors with a spectacular view of the beauty of surrounding hills and forests. It has water flowing through three channels and a small but iconic pond included in its amazing architecture which makes it a must visit location for nature and heritage lovers.
