Nahar Singh Cricket Stadium Reviews
It is a international cricket stadium located on the backside of Rose garden just next to the Aravali golf course. The stadium is under the control of the Haryana government. The Cricket ground is ok but the facilities in the stadium are not that great and they are no way near the international standards. There is no proper parking lot or facility outside the stadium. The stadium is not disable friendly. The standard of cleanliness leaves lot to be desired.
Nahar Singh Stadium in Faridabad is one of the best stadiums in North India. But due to politics, the stadium is now in a very poor condition. Haryana Cricket Association doesn't care about it now and the stadium is in this condition because some former players of Faridabad who have represented India are interested in their own academies rather than the stadium which has given them everything! Very few people know that great Indian allrounder and former Team India captain Kapil Dev played his last ODI here due to which the pavilion has been named "Kapil Pavilion" also Australian and West Indian great Gilchrist and Chanderpaul played their debut ODI here. The scoop shot was also invented here by Zimbabwe's Douglas Marrilier in 2002. Now, the Haryana Govt. has finally passed the orders to renovate the stadium, let's see till when we will see a modern and renovated Nahar Singh Stadium.
