  • When you travel to Darjeeling and opt for one day or two day sight seeing, this place usually included.. entry to the place is completely free. The place is located on a hill, the road to this perticular hill is very narrow(that too a one way), so you need to be very careful with driving. When you reach the location, you will find an open space surrounded by few building..one of the building sells handycaft things made by Tibetan refugees which are very good indeed and I recommend that you must buy few or more things because they are not that expensive. In the building just opposite of it has photographs and articles related to history about them and depicts their story. One staircase next to it leads to a very small monestery. Overall it's an average spot . I don't find it very touristy unless you are Keen on exploring every nook and cranny of Darjeeling or very much interested in history. I recommend to skip this place if you are running tight on schedule. You can include it in your itinerary if you are visiting tea garden ( located in vicinity) and you have good time for spending.
  • It has small outlet of woollen items, carpets, rugs and other handicrafts made by tibbetan refugees. Has small photo gallery depicting issues and history of tibet and tibetan refugees.
