  • The corbusier architecture, the administrative center of Punjab and Haryana, is a cohesive sight. You can see the actual buildings, such as the High Court and the Houses of Parliament, but you can't visit the interior during important events. When I visited, I was disappointed to see only the appearance because it was near Independence Day. After receiving a passport check at the tourist office, the bank's officer I will take a tour of less than an hour while receiving the explanation. Because there was a distance between buildings considerably, it was quite hard to move on foot under the blazing sun. The officer answered the question politely. If you go to the Corbusier Center after seeing this, you will be more interested.

  • Capitol Complex is Very big place. But for visit you have to go with the help from Tourist Center, there will be one guide with for explaining. But there is fix timing, the timing is 9 Am / 12 Pm / 3 Pm. Inside you will many things like : Chandigarh Logo, Assembly, High Court, Oldest Architecture and many more things. I recommend to all visit once here definitely you will love this place. And you can find location easily from Goole Maps.
  • The tourist center is open all days of the week. It’s just closed on certain public holidays. If you go on a weekday you can go inside the buildings. On weekends you can only view from outside. We went for the 10am tour on a Sunday. We were the only people on the tour! The building exteriors were renovated recently. The water was drained from the high court building.. they said for renovations... if you love architecture and want to do a weekend trip up to Chandigarh it’s worth it. Don’t come to Chandigarh just to see these buildings if your coming internationally. Too much hassle.
