Cavelossim Beach, Cavelossim

#5 of 144 in Outdoors in Goa
A meandering stretch of snow-white sand lies in stark contrast to the deep black lava rocks at Cavelossim Beach. Remote enough for serenity yet developed enough for comfort, the beach sits in between the Arabian Sea and the Sal River. Take your pick of beachside activities, from dolphin watching tours to water sports. A selection of beach shacks serving up freshly cooked sea food is sure to tempt you, while the scattering of beach bars offer welcome refreshments. Make Cavelossim Beach a centerpiece of your Goa vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Goa road trip planner .

  • Gorgeous beach. Not too many hawkers. And you can get a great massage right on the beach! Plentiful beach shacks. Word of caution- if you're elderly- you may have a hard time walking through the thick...  more »
  • I was in Cavelossim twice, quietly and quietly. Another trip is planned at the end of March 2019. If you need privacy, then from the beach to the right in the direction of the beach volley kilometer two-three voids and appeasement.

  • Our summer vacation plan was the most memorable one. We planned a short trip to Goa. Though the climate was hot in Goa also, the trip was really a mind refresher. We were able to relax in the beach during the evenings. The waves moving up and down gave us peace of mind and the beach time gave us chance to talk with our family without any hindrance after a long time. We saw many fisherman moving in to the sea and catch fish. We also got many valuable things as a remembrance of Goa. Goa is definitely one of the best places one should visit at least once in a lifetime. The beach is the best attraction of Goa. It was so much fun to be at the beach. We played in the waters, made sand castles, ran around, went for a swim and enjoyed the whole day. Going back we were so tired , but went on laughing at the great adventures at the sea. Next day we thought we would go around Goa.We went to Panjim and on the way saw the ship decks being lighted so beautifully that one could not just take their eye from it. The restaurants are just fantastic there and the food is great. There are live bands in the restaurants and we enjoyed our meal in the presence of music. We then visited some of the churches in Goa. They have beautifully built churches there are it is a beauty to be there and pray.
  • Most beautiful south Goan beach. Water is crystal clear and long stretch makes it even more enjoyable. Not crowded at all.
