  • Well worth a visit, this well is pretty spectacular. Elaborate carvings, stonework elephants everywhere and a deliciously cool retreat from the heat of the day.  more »
  • A couple of Kilometers from the Taragarh Fort, this Baori or Stepped Well was built by Queen of King Aniruddha of Bundi, Rani Nathavati, mainly for the public to be used for drinking water. Probably.....  more »

  • This is the most popular Baori of Bundi. In order to protect the Baori, it has been covered. The steps are nice and deep with water in the Baori. You can't walk down till bottom of the steps. Be careful of of the bird droppings all the time. There are some nice sculptures, but very limited one. There is an entry charge. It's best to take combined tickets for three places valid for two days.
  • At least this water tank is maintained a bit well. The entrance of this place is occupied by flower vendors, but it gives a nice feeling to see the flowers while entering this place. The water tank must have been built with lots of love and affection. It must have given the drinking water to the people of this city for countless years. But with the advent of Tube well, pipeline etc, now it is totally neglected. Definitely worth a visit, if you are passing this way.
