The Lohagarh Fort' ( Iron Fort) was built by Maharaja Surajmal, a great warrior in 1733 AD. It was called so because it stood against several attacks by the British and many others and remained unconquered.

  • Very well kept place with very rich history behind it. Needs to be given more publicity and should be included in must visit place. There is scope for good guides there . A fit place for light and sound show.
  • The Fort is not so big considering other forts in Rajasthan, but from architectural point of view it's beautiful. I visited the place in the evening and it looks amazing with the lighting, basically there is a museum inside the fort...
