Colorful blooms and lush greenery come alive at Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. Commissioned on the orders of the former ruler of Mysore, a local kingdom, the gardens trace their origins to the second half of the 18th century. You can explore the extensive grounds that stretch for more than 97 hectares (240 acres), admiring centuries-old species of trees and a number of collections exhibiting different floral varieties. Join a guided tour to learn more about the origins of the complex and the plants themselves. Lalbagh Botanical Garden Reviews
One of the must visit / touristy spots when you're in Bengaluru for a short period of time. Do visit. more »
Oase um der Hektik der Großstadt zu entfliehen. Aber ungepflegt bzw lange Zeit nichts mehr investiert. Dennoch gut zu entspannen more »Oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. But unkempt or for a long time nothing invested. Still good to relax
This is my favourite place to go. I used to be not much of a runner but the time I started running here in Lalbagh,it feels addictive . It's such a beautiful and lovely place full of life and is a brilliant community space where people come to unwind ,relax and spend time with their loved ones. I love my weekly runs here . I discover new roads everyday and there are so many new discoveries to be done here. Its well maintained park , with botanical gardens and lake and gazebos and glass house. So enjoy your visit here. Bring your loved once.
One of the perfect place in Bangalore for the nature lovers. The botanical garden contains parks, lakes. Filled with beautiful trees and lush green lawns. Good place for a morning or evening walk. Parking available here, both wheelchair and normal but for a minimal fee. This place has many food zones where small cheap food stalls available offering street food. The place has benches and it is a good place for kids.
