Ambapur Stepwell is beautifully carved and five stories deep. It was also not very crowded when I went there. But it is not as well-maintained as the Adalaj Stepwell. Don't get me wrong, it is very beautiful and a real architectural marvel, but is in a state of neglect. Many photo shoots are organised there. But sadly, the people responsible from them forget to clean the place after their job is done.
