Help wildlife in need at Wildlife SOS, a center which allows volunteers to look after animals and physically interact with them. Volunteers involve themselves in tasks like washing the elephants, building hammocks for sloths, and making enclosure structures. No previous experience is required, just a keen interest in conservation and wildlife. Expect to work in teams under hot and humid conditions. • I would highly recommend this trip. We went to the elephant sanctuary first. We heard the story of the elephants and I do not think anyone could comprehend the cruelty they have endured over the years...  more »

  • Great initiative by Mr Kartik Narayan. Bear n elephant conservation centre
  • We took a cab from Agra to this reserve, which was 45 min drive. We had to pay $500 Rupee pp to enter the nature park which is acres of land with a big lake. We saw lots of interesting birds (a pelican, kingfisher, water snake bird) lots of monkeys. You could spend 30 mins walking around this area as it’s very quiet and beautiful. Our guide at the bear reserve was awesome! He provided tons of information and he has a true love for rehabilitating bears. We saw 10-15 bears while we were there. Got to meet quite a few up close as they would come up to the fence, which was super sweet. The bears appear to be in great condition (big enclosures, the bears are fat and have beautiful coats of hair) . We also saw two Bambi deers on the property. There is donation “entry fee “ of $1500 rupee pp. Which is fair as our tour was 90 mins and you are helping feed and shelter these poor bears who had a horrible life. If you love bears, a great cause and nature, I think this is a great outing :)
