    Our tour group spent about 1 1/2 - 2 hours walking on the VAlnajokull glacier. I'm 80 years and decided after a 1/2 mile walk over rough terrain carrying my pick-ax/helmet and ice cleats that I would....  more »

    Hrútfjallstindar is not the tallest mountain peak in Iceland ... actually it's a mountain with 3 peaks ... but it is next to the highest mountain and the hike up to the top is even more rewarding...  more »
