    Amazing views to both sea and shore. Easy hike with stairs from the harbour. A must visit if you are in the area.  more »

    It is only a short walk with a few stairs. It will take you 5-10 minutes max to be able to enjoy a wonderful view of the town, small port, mountains and ocean. It is windy but very safe. Just do it.  more »

    A very peaceful place at the coast of west Iceland. There is a short hike up to the lighthouse. The view from up the small hill is extraordinary. You can see the whole city, at the opposite side, you can see islands. The rock formation of the small hill is also marvelous. We were there in February, and the stairs were covered with hard ice. It was very tough to climb up but we didn't miss the opportunity. It was raining a little and when we got up, the sun started shining and we were welcomed by a rainbow above the lighthouse. It was amazing.
