  • It was the second time we visited Iceland and also the second time we visited Laugarvatn Fontana. On both occasions, the experience was great, nice clean showers, nice size pools, nice steam rooms...  more »
  • This is my favorite commercial hot spring in Iceland due to the natural setting with multiple temperature pools and saunas. We enjoyed delicious home made soup and bread after our soak.  more »
  • One of my favourite baths in Iceland. 4 different pools, steam baths, a sauna and of course the beautiful view of the lake with these great mountains in the back. Make sure to taste their home made rye bread, which they bake in the hot sands next to the lake.
  • Last time visiting was in March of 2020, just before covid. I really love this place. It is much smaller and more laid back than the other thermal spa's in Iceland, I also found it to have less tourists. I have visited maybe 3 or 4 times over the past few years while in Iceland for work. The price is reasonable and they have a few different pools with varying temps. The Steam rooms outside are probably the best ones I have ever been in, ever. It was also really nice being along the lake and being able to quickly jump into the freezing water, just to be able to say that I did. I would highly recommend you set aside a couple hours to relax here.
