Very interesting exhibition. It's definitely worth a visit if you visit Mezőkövesd. Hungarian only so to be fair that's the only downside. more »

Interesting display of traditional clothing from the past. The shop offers some clothes for sale. Nearby is the Hadas artists quarter.

We have now been visiting the Matyo-area for more than 20 years and have never seen this beautiful little museum - and what a pity. It is really a cosy museum, and a nice lady upstairs was really helpful and knowing. She told us a lot about tradition and peasant life in Hungary in the old times. We can really recommend this little museum and don’t hesitate to ask question, the staff is very kind and helpful. Across the street there is a very beautiful art exhibition which We also can recommend mostly.
