Families can have fun and learn at Deltapark Neeltje Jans, a thrilling--and educational--water park. Be a kid again on the water playground, jump in for a boat ride, or cheer on the seals and sea lions during their show. Once you've finished with all this excitement, head to the exhibits about the 1953 floods and the storm surge barrier. Rest your feet as you watch a 3-D film about the underwater world, witness the works of a hurricane machine, and discover the respectful bond between the Dutch and the sea. It is the solution to a titanic battle against the Sea in which they have been trying to control for centuries. The visit is to enter the wall/dam built and to tell you the work of exceptional hydraulic engineering they have done for the last 25 years, and believe that is impressive for both children and you. In addition, taking advantage of the Esplanade created, has created a water park with some other animal, and attraction that makes the children come out enchanted! Another must see that I would not miss!

It is really annoying that you also have to pay extra, plus the high entrance fee and the parking fee for attractions. I was actually interested in visiting the lockbook (and it's actually about the lockdown)-but is only possible with extra fee and is only offered 2 times a day! I find this very customer-friendly
If you're a fan of civil engineering this place is a must. The delta works here are just amazing. If you come when the water is at a higher level you can really see the power of the ocean as the water roars through the gates, which makes it all the more impressive that the Dutch built such a structure. Kids will also enjoy the aquarium and seals etc. that are there.
Very interesting. Very informative and helpful folks. The tour really helps a visitor wrap around the amazing engineering feat!
