Dit is een leuk klein museum. We hebben hier een tentoonstelling gezien van haute culture kleding en sieraden. De presentatie was erg goed waarbij de stukken goed de aandacht kregen. more »This is a nice little museum. We have seen an exhibition of haute culture clothing and jewellery here. The presentation was very good and the pieces were given a good attention.
I liked what I saw. I remember I went to Maastricht on the Sunday morning and it was a gloomy, cold day. When I got the museum, I was met with smiles from the staff members inside. The place was lit and welcoming. One of the staff members explained to me what to expect because most text were in Dutch. I think the barrier is language. If a museum is a tourist attraction, then there has to be more than one language. Overall I loved the display of different weddings dresses. Variety in everything gives me time to think clearly before making a decision. I would recommend the museum to anyone who loves fashion. There is also a collection of beautiful and unique clothes by Ronald Kolk. The pearls and presentation was creative. If you are visiting Maastricht, I can assure you that you will enjoy your time and money worth. So go out there and have a great time.
We came here without expectations yet the modern exhibit of Ted Noten was quite interesting and fascinating! I'm impressed with his incorporation of 3D printing into his models. It just shows that gives so much more flexibility and creativity for his expression. The place has a good cafe at the reception. There's also a locker area where you can store your stuff temporarily as you go around the museum. At the end of our visit, I helped some of the museum staff on some technical issue with the 3D printer in the lobby. The museum ladies were very nice and courteous. We really enjoyed this visit!
