  • For years my partner and I come here. Sometimes a few times a year, sometimes somewhat less. I wanted to book a day at the sauna with two body massages but this could only be paid in advance. What a kul! I would therefore have to pay more than €200,-three weeks in advance. If I book somewhere else or make an appointment (beautician, masseur, other saunas, dentist?) I don't have to pay in advance. Why Devarana thinks this is necessary for them is a mystery to me. It gives me a lot of sense, they only see me as a cashcow and no more as a guest. In any case, I/US do not see them anymore.

  • Deverana is a very quiet sauna with many possibilities. Many types of saunas and fortunately not crowded like the other mega saunas in the Netherlands. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped with very nice gardens and water features. Probably the most beautiful of the Dutch saunas!! The restaurant area was very nice and the food was very nice. A healthy sandwich is not for sale. A tosty either. You have to choose directly from sandwich chicken, salmon or tuna with prices from 10 euros. A chicken satay sign from 17.50. If you want fries there you can pay 3 euros. For the food you pay too much. What a pity. If Sauna Deverana is going to adjust the restaurant area then this is one of the better saunas!!!!

  • I had my first experience in Sauna in the Netherlands here today (nov/18). I was very impressed with the experience. This is such a beautiful place. The spaces are beautiful, and well maintained. Everything was clean and working well. There's a great variety of saunas, both indoors and outdoors, with beautiful gardens and typical spaces that are very cozy. I felt really comfortable, although it was my first time in a nude sauna. Really recommend it as a day experience to anyone looking for resting and having a relaxing time.
  • Oh wow...well..how can I explain it. I live in London and my sister has been asking me to go there for ages. I was against because it is a spa without swimsuits so you walk/swim etc naked I have finally agreed and I am not sorry at all. The complex is really big- you have different type of jacuzzis, saunas, hot and cold swimminh pools, outside area to lie down and sunbathe, etc. It is really big! They have a restaurant with food and drinks so you are sorted. It is quite populat with locals so if you go- try to do it over a work day. Btw- after 2 hours I got used to not feeling so weird out being naked in the pool or sauna together with strangers. Remember to take slippers, 2 towels- one for showering after and one to put when you sit anywhere (hygiene reasons) and a rope to wear inside when you are not in a sauna or a pool. You can opt in to walk naked but I am not yet that free minded to not care. They have lockers and no phones are allowed inside (understandably). They also have some sessions with essential oil. I am not sure how it is called. Ask at the reception. So they pour cold water on stones and put essential oil and then go around with a towel spreading the steam from the stones. It is not for people with low blood pressure as they can get dizzy. But there are some people near by to help you if you feel unwell and they explain you how to notify them in this case. The only issue you might have is English. My sister lives in the Netherlanda so there was no need for me to explain anything or try to as she did it so in Dutch.
