Meet replicas of your favorite celebrities and historical figures at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam. Based on the original museum in London, this museum features wax recreations of famous individuals from Elizabeth Taylor to Albert Einstein. If you are more interested in Dutch history, visit the Dutch Golden Age wax exhibit. Kids will love taking photos with their favorite stars, and teenagers will especially enjoy the multimedia zones, including a pop idols experience. View the world's largest animatronics' wax figurine, a replica of Claas Janszoon at 5 m (18 ft) tall, and take in city views from the top floor of the building. Madame Tussauds Amsterdam offers a leisure in the heart of Dam Square! You can admire the view from above via a large porthole that offers an overview of the city and the square itself! Along with the ticket to the Wax Museum, there is also the one for The House of Fear that is just a few meters away.
Virker som tiden har løpt litt i fra konseptet. Kjekt å se på noe svært dyktig utførte dukker og knipse noen bilder, men ble utrolig fort ferdig more »
We went in January and were staying down the road so was easy to get too. Signs outside the place so easy to find. You can get tickets online or buy on the door. It does get busy but still get in within a reasonable amount of time queuing. You follow round the route it takes you. Can take as many photos as you like of the wax figures. I liked to pose with as many as possible. Also had information about the celebrities which was very interesting to learn about. I got to do a cat walk and have it filmed which was cool! The guy hosting it was very comical. It must have taken about 90 minutes to go through it all. Definitely worth a visit.
It was nice but rather short. Great opportunity to take some funny pictures but I found the price a little steep. There a combo tickets that make it more affordable. You can be through in less than one hour.
