  • A lovely museum full of treasures from the Hermitage. The displays are first class and diverse. We were surprised to find it uncrowded which allowed for a very relaxed visit with some fabulous pieces ...  more »
  • Unbelievable what a beautiful paintings one has managed to bring together for this exposition. And then to know that some of them were simply extracted from the depots of the Rijksmuseum and other museums. Even though it is not a Rembrandts, they are all top pieces. Only the format though is impressive. Chapeau for those who brought these pieces together!

  • It deserves to be called Hermitage indeed. It is beautiful outside and inside. I ended to enjoy more the place than the exposition. And yet, the exposition was wonderful. I can only give appraisals to the museum. Clean, well organized, interesting, beautiful, practical, well located, etc.
  • The Hermitage has a great collection of art. The expositions are placed in nice, spacious halls with great lighting. The building itself is a beautiful place close to the city center. The only downside are the high prices for a ticket and in the restaurant.
