When you're feeling frisky, head to Erotic Museum, an erotic museum with a range of artwork, photos, and sexual objects. As soon as you enter, you are introduced to a bicycle-powered pleasure machine. Move on to the art exhibits to find some of John Lennon's erotic drawings, original photos of Betty Page's S&M scenes, and more sexy pieces. The art collection can be accessed online, and you can also buy art from the attraction. Note that visitors must be at least 18 years of age. Erotic Museum Reviews
Contrairement aux autres avis publiés, nous avons bien aimé ce musée ! Les 7€ n’étaient pas gâchés pour nous. It is a museum and not a cabaret where we are taught what eroticism is. The history of this concept is shared all over the world. The museum also offers funny little works of art and animations that are there to make people laugh. It is well themed with the red light district. Finally, the staff at the front desk was friendly!
A visit to the museum (also called the erotic museum) is worth the time if you're in Amsterdam. It should give you a good laugh and is one of the attractions in the famous red light district. Entry is... more »
Really cool art museum with tons of cool pieces to look at on several floors that take you on an adventure through a variety of different sex related art. Felt a little lacking in information about the exhibits, but otherwise a really cool and affordable place to visit.
Some of the things from the early 1900's are pretty interesting, I've never really thought about the beginning of eroticism, kind of assumed it was relatively new but apparently not. Most of it is things you'll have seen or heard of before but for the cost its worth a walk around. The giggling women were a bit annoying so we tried to be on a different floor to them where we could, not the museums fault obviously it's just things they hadn't seen before.
