This agency is too expensive ! We had booked a bike tour with Colonial Travel Agency (CTA), and on the morning of the tour, we were at the meeting point in CTA, when a guy from the office drove us to another agency: OX Expeditions. This bike tour was great, but CTA doesn’t have anything to do with that! Of course, the guys from CTA have to take their commission, but this time it was too much... Their initial price was 45 USD per person, and we bargained to pay 40 USD per person to CTA. Afterwards, we realized that OX charges only 29 USD per person. Needless to say that this is an unpleasant feeling! This being said, I’m happy to have discovered OX Expeditions with this dishonest behavior of CTA, because this biking experience lead us to work with OX for our overnight Acatenango tour! Spoiler: OX is great, and both the bike tour and the volcano climb were amazing.
