Become a time traveler at Latte Stone Park, one of the best-preserved collections of ancient monoliths in the Mariana Islands. Erected by the indigenous Chamorro people, who probably arrived in the archipelago between 4000 and 2000 BCE, the latte stones held huge cultural significance for millennia, serving as construction supports, communal meeting places, and markers of human remains. Latte Stone Park Reviews
more »There are Lati stones that were used as foundations when the first nations built their houses, and this public park is small, and we can see all the Lati stones at a glance, and we were here to go through the area and make a presentation while we were adding a boat. Other First Nations also have cultural interfaces about Latistone, so they don't specificly push this public park.
グアム島内ドライブの途中に立ち寄りました。 観光スポットですが、ここは日陰も多く観光客が少なく静かなスポットです。 more »I stopped in the middle of a drive on Guam Island. It is a tourist spot, but there is a lot of shade and there are few tourists, and it is a quiet spot.
Historical significance aside, it's part of the Hagatna Pokemon go walking route. 😋
Not interesting to see😩 My guide book recommended to visit, but I won’t come again. Found stones and people smoking on a bench. 5 min is enough to see all in the park. Better to go to the Spanish garden next to it.
