In the midst of a national park teeming with wildlife and spectacular views, Grand Etang Lake sits at an elevation of 550 m (1,800 ft). A crater lake within an extinct volcano, its 12 ha (29.6 ac) expanse is blanketed with rich vegetation and framed by the dramatic backdrop of the majestic Mount Qua Qua. Choose from a selection of hiking trails, ranging in difficulty and length, all of which immerse you amongst lush jungle, waterfalls, and wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for Mona monkeys, which inhabit the forest canopy. Consider taking a guided tour around the lake.   • We walked to Annadale Falls in Grand Etang National Forest in Grenada. The climb was not terribly steep but people of unsure footing should not attempt to come here. Annandale Falls and the walk to.....  more »
  • Gorgeous! Deep crater lake. Koi and tilapia by pier. Very pretty all around lake. Lush and green. Can do Shoreline Trail hike around lake.  more »
