The private collection at Kulusuk Museum tells the story of the customs and tradition of the Inuit people. The owners will gladly take you on a tour and tell you about the local history, as well as something about each piece. One highlight here is an authentic room where a family of 15 would have lived, with all the furniture made of wood and items of reindeer bone and seal skin. Some of the pieces are for sale, if you'd like to bring a part of this culture back home. • Lots of things to see inside and our docent provided excellent commentary and information. It's small but well maintained. You can see my video of my visit on my YT Travel Channel, am1manTravel.  more »
  • Family run and very small, but informative museum. They have a narwhal tusk and a few other amazing items.  more »

  • Interesting to discover the history of the Inuit Ilvo. The largest and only collection of cultural artefacts.
